A: We source our ingredients with care and respect for tradition. Our black soap base is imported from West Africa, made using authentic, natural methods passed down through generations. The oils and other ingredients we use are carefully selected from trusted suppliers to ensure high quality, purity, and sustainability. We’re committed to transparency and honoring the heritage behind every product.

Q: Is black soap good for sensitive skin?
A: Yes! Our black soap is gentle and suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. However, if you have very sensitive or allergy-prone skin, we recommend doing a patch test before full use.

Q: My skin is itchy, burning, or having an allergic reaction after using your products—is this normal?
A: No, that’s not normal. While our products are made with natural ingredients and designed to be gentle, everyone’s skin is unique. If you experience itching, burning, redness, or any allergic reaction, please stop using the product immediately and consult a healthcare professional. We also recommend doing a patch test before full use to help avoid unexpected reactions. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

Q: Is African black soap safe for children?
A: African black soap is generally recommended for children starting around adolescence—typically when their skin begins producing more oil and regular cleansing is needed, usually around 12 years old. For younger children and infants, whose skin is very delicate, it’s best to consult a pediatrician or healthcare professional before using black soap. We want to make sure every skin type is cared for safely and gently.

Q: How do I use black soap?
A: Wet your skin, lather the soap in your hands, and gently massage onto your face or body. Do not rub the bar of soap directly on your skin or use the soap on intimate areas because it can cause irritation. Rinse thoroughly. For best results, follow with a moisturizer or our body oil.

Q: Will black soap dry out my skin?
A: Unlike harsh soaps, black soap cleanses without stripping your skin’s natural oils. If you experience dryness, try using it less frequently or pairing it with our moisturizing body oil.

Q: Can black soap help with acne or eczema?
A: Many customers find black soap helps reduce acne and soothe eczema thanks to its natural ingredients and gentle cleansing. Results vary by individual, so consistent use and moisturizing are key.

Q: Is there a way that I can add/edit items after check out?

A. Unfortunately, no. We have no way to alter orders after transactions are complete.

Q: If I forget to apply a discount/coupon/promo code can it be credited to my form of payment?

A. No, we do not refund or credit unused discounts/coupons/promo codes. Please be sure to double check your order before completing your online purchase.

Q. Can you please change my shipping address?

A. We have a small window to amend shipping addresses. In the event of entering an incorrect shipping address, we ask that you contact info@theanointedflow.com  as soon as possible with your order details to see if they are able to edit the address for you.

Q, How soon will I receive my tracking? 

A. If the email was entered correctly, you should receive a tracking number to the email provided at checkout. Be sure to check your inbox & spam folder. Tracking is sent once the package is shipped. 

Q, What should I do if my tracking link is not working?

A, Tracking numbers do refresh often. In the event that your tracking number is not working try it again within 3 hours. Tracking numbers can sometimes take up to 24 hours to refresh.

Q, What to do if my tracking information says delivered, but I have not received order yet?

If your order has been delivered, double check the tracking link to see where exactly your order has been delivered. (Ex. Front Door, Porch, Parcel Locker, Front Desk/Reception) After doing this if your items still have not been delivered, please contact the courier associated with your tracking link.
